The SA200 series comprises spherical outer ring bearings with a flat end on one side and an eccentric locking sleeve on the other. The difference from the UEL200 series is that the inner ring lacks a raised step on one side, resulting in a flat end face and a more compact installation footprint. Locking onto the shaft is achieved via the eccentric sleeve, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly, and is suitable for single-direction rotation applications. The spherical structure of the outer ring provides inherent self-aligning capability, compensating for misalignment during installation.
With double-sided sealing protection to prevent the ingress of dust and impurities, these bearings are primarily designed to carry radial loads whilst being capable of withstanding minor bidirectional axial loads; they are classified as a lightweight specification. They are compatible with various standard spherical roller bearing housings, including P, F, FL and T types.
They are commonly used in agricultural machinery, light-duty conveyors, textile machinery, small fans and light-duty transmission mechanisms.
