SB Series

The SB-type self-aligning roller bearings feature a double-row, symmetrical barrel-shaped roller configuration, fitted with a two-piece machined solid brass cage. The roller guidance design incorporates a central fixed flange on the inner ring, ensuring stable limitation of roller movement. They offer excellent radial load-carrying capacity and can withstand axial loads in both directions, whilst being impact-resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures. Unlike the MA (outer ring-guided) and MB (inner ring-guided) designs, the SB cage utilises direct roller guidance, providing greater freedom of movement for the rollers and lower frictional resistance, thereby balancing load-carrying capacity with maximum rotational speed. Compared to the CA one-piece brass cage, the split-type structure offers superior heat dissipation, making it suitable for prolonged continuous operation. Typically paired with C3 standard clearance, these bearings are widely used in industrial equipment subject to heavy loads and continuous operation, where high operational stability is required, such as rolling mill auxiliary machinery, large fans, cement slewing rings, papermaking equipment, heavy-duty conveyors and large gearboxes.
