The UC300 series of external spherical bearings with set screws are heavy-duty external spherical bearings. The inner ring is thickened and widened, and both ends are fitted with set screws; tightening the set screws locks the shaft in place, making installation and removal straightforward. The spherical structure of the outer ring provides self-aligning capability, enabling compensation for misalignment during installation.
Compared to the UC200 series, these bearings feature larger rollers, higher radial load capacity and greater impact resistance. Their double-sealed design provides protection against dust and contaminants, making them suitable for harsh operating conditions. They are primarily designed to withstand radial loads, whilst also being capable of handling minor bidirectional axial loads.
Compatible with various types of spherical outer ring housings, they are commonly used in heavy-duty conveying equipment, agricultural machinery, crushers, fans and light mining equipment.
