Sealed self-aligning roller bearings

Sealed self-aligning roller bearings are integrated bearing units that incorporate seals on both sides, based on standard open self-aligning roller bearings; the BS2 series of sealed self-aligning roller bearings is the most widely used type. These bearings feature a double-row barrel-shaped roller design with a spherical raceway on the outer ring, retaining excellent self-aligning performance whilst offering high radial load-carrying capacity. They can also withstand axial loads in both directions and are resistant to impact and vibration. Compared with open self-aligning roller bearings, they eliminate the need for additional external sealing components, thereby simplifying the bearing housing design, reducing machining and assembly costs for the entire machine, and significantly reducing the frequency of routine maintenance. They are widely used in applications such as conveyors, small and medium-sized fans, textile machinery, mixing equipment, auxiliary machinery for construction machinery, and agricultural machinery—where space is limited, the environment is dusty, and frequent grease replenishment is impractical.
