Double-row self-aligning ball bearings feature two rows of steel balls and a spherical raceway on the outer ring, providing excellent self-aligning capabilities that can compensate for misalignment and shaft deflection. They are primarily designed to withstand radial loads, whilst also being capable of withstanding small amounts of axial loads in both directions. Their maximum operating speed exceeds that of self-aligning roller bearings, making them suitable for applications such as drive shafts, textile machinery, conveying equipment and small to medium-sized fans.
